#Tax Manager - Accounting & Advisory Services

Mazars USA is looking for an experienced professional with strong technical partnership tax experience to join their Accounting & Advisory Services practice as a Manager. In this role, they will be responsible for providing sophisticated tax review, compliance, and advisory services to their clients.

##Responsibilities
* Oversee the planning, budgeting, execution, and completion of engagements
* Provide strong technical knowledge on corporate, individual, and partnership tax planning, consulting, and compliance activities for assigned clients
* Supervise, mentor, develop and review the work of other tax and accounting professionals
* Research and successfully resolve tax and accounting issues that may impact clients’ financial position and business
* Keep firm Partners and leadership updated on status of engagements
* Communicate with the IRS, and other tax authorities on behalf of clients' tax matters and serve as a client representative for any tax-related audit
* Conduct online tax research using authorized tax software programs and technology
* Develop and sustain strong working relationships with clients
* Participate in client proposals and new business development opportunities
* Stay current on technical and industry developments and standards, while evaluating the potential impact on clients' business interests

##Requirements
* 5+ years of relevant tax experience working in a CPA firm, a professional services firm, a tax consulting practice or a mix of corporate and client service
* Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a Business-related field required; an advanced tax degree (MST, JD, LLM) is preferred
* CPA license
* Strong tax compliance, analysis, and tax research experience
* Demonstrated aptitude in problem solving and decision making
* Ability to successfully complete engagements on time and within budget
* Working knowledge of CCH Axcess and other tax software programs
* Ability to travel to client locations as needed

##Compensation
Mazars USA offers a generous compensation package with discretionary bonus opportunities, paid time off and a 401K plan with a firm matching contribution. The salary range for this role takes into account many factors including, but not limited to, years and type of experience, skill sets, and certifications. The projected salary range for this position is $115,000 - $192,000.
