Your responsibilities will include coaching and developing others, analysing complex ideas and proposals, and using data and insights to inform decision-making. This framework sets expectations for all employees and provides transparency on the skills needed for success and career progression. As a Manager, you will be expected to uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct and stay up-to-date on key global trends and their impact on clients. We are a technology-enabled tax advisory firm, and we pride ourselves on providing value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a thorough understanding of the tax issues affecting the insurance industry, as well as knowledge of public accounting practices and internal tax departments. You should also have comprehensive technical skills in areas such as FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation, and corporate and partnership tax compliance. Previous experience as a team leader is preferred, and you should have the ability to build and maintain relationships, communicate value propositions, manage resources and budgets, and provide feedback to staff. We are looking for someone who is a tax technical business advisor and has experience developing new relationships and selling new services. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is also desired. Additionally, knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment is important, as we are constantly innovating and using technology to improve our services and processes. At PwC, we are transforming the way we deliver tax services.
