Role Overview:
As a Risk Manager for the North American Delivery Service Partner (DSP) team at Amazon, you will play a critical role in mitigating risk and supporting legal and dispute resolution efforts. This role requires a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment. You will partner with internal teams to develop and improve processes, analyze trends, and make strategic recommendations to proactively address systemic issues. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in serving as the initial escalation point for DSP candidate, legal entity, and ownership issues. We are looking for someone with a background in risk management, legal, or audit, who is passionate about diving deep into complex problems and finding ways to introduce structure.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as the initial escalation point for DSP candidate, legal entity, and ownership issues
• Deep dive and make determinations about ambiguous situations that contribute to program risk
• Assist with discovery processes in the context of legal dispute resolution
• Partner with internal program, tech, and legal teams to develop and improve processes that reduce risk
• Analyze trends and produce strategic recommendations to proactively address systemic issues
• Assist with data gathering and reporting to leadership and other stakeholders
• Partner with international teams as they seek to develop parallel risk-mitigating programs

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in risk management, legal, or audit
• Experience working with a Case Management System or related software/platform
• Strong communication, dive deep capabilities, and interpersonal skills
• Juris doctor or other advanced degree or certification in the legal field preferred
• CPA, CMA, CISA, CIA, CFE, or similar risk, audit, or compliance credentials preferred

Compensation:
• Salary range: $59,300/year - $142,800/year, based on location and experience
