Law Firm is seeking a 3-7 year Associate Attorney with water, environmental, or land use law experience. The ideal candidate must possess a strong legal analysis and writing skills, be a quick study, resourceful, and self-sufficient, with a high level of organization, attention to detail. The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $185,000, depending on experience, for an expected 1750 evaluation hours, plus uncapped non-discretionary hours bonuses and discretionary bonuses for exceptional performance.

## Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

* 3-7 years of appropriate water, land use, or environmental law experience
* Strong analytical and writing skills and relevant academic coursework or work experience
* Ability to effectively work as a team member in a fast-paced environment
* Litigation experience a plus
* Admitted to the California State Bar
* Excellent academic credentials

## Responsibilities

The Natural Resources Attorney will be responsible for the following:

* Provide legal advice and counsel on complex environmental, water, and land use matters
* Represent clients in administrative proceedings and litigation
* Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
* Negotiate and draft contracts, permits, and other legal documents
* Monitor state and federal laws and regulations
* Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys
