Job Title: Senior Counsel - Renewable Energy

Department: Legal

Company: PowerFlex (a subsidiary of EDF Renewables)

Location: Remote or hybrid role at one of our offices (New York, NY, Mountain View, CA, or San Diego, CA)

Salary: $148,000 - $247,000 annually

Experience: 3-10 years of legal experience in relevant fields, preferably in renewable energy, distributed generation, technology, construction, project finance, or energy

Responsibilities:
- Review and draft various contracts related to PowerFlex's business throughout the United States
- Lead negotiations with counterparties and manage work streams for inter-company coordination
- Provide legal support and serve as the main point of contact for internal business and management teams, interpreting and applying legal requirements to the business
- Develop and refine legal systems, contract templates, processes, and playbooks to continuously improve the company's legal and compliance functions
- Manage workflow and provide reporting on all relevant activities
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree and member of a State Bar Association, preferably California
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead contract drafting and implementation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
- Proactive and organized approach to work
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
