Job Overview: A law firm in Springfield, MA, is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will have immediate exposure to litigation, handling a diverse workload that includes drafting motions legal memoranda, conducting legal research, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing for and conducting depositions, and attending court hearings. The attorney will also be responsible for high-level correspondence and reports, showcasing excellent research and persuasive writing skills. This position requires admission to the Massachusetts State Bar and 2-4 years of civil litigation experience, including general courtroom experience and familiarity with the rules of court in the Superior, District, and Probate courts.
