Summary

Kerecis is looking for a Corporate Lawyer (CL) to join their legal department. The CL will provide legal advice and counsel on various legal issues and implement processes to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and performance of the legal team. The CL will report to the General Counsel and work in a Kerecis office.

The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctorate granted by an ABA accredited law school and a minimum of five years of legal experience in federal and state employment law, corporate, business and commercial law, federal government contracting, ethics, and compliance, intellectual property, and other areas. They must also have experience advising clients on commercial transactions, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

The Corporate Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and services in support of the operations of Kerecis. This includes providing advice regarding and preparing and reviewing corporate and business-related documents, medical-legal matters, employment related documents, analyzing the impact and application of federal and state health care laws and regulations, preparing and reviewing documents for complex transactions, and assisting in the management of corporate compliance matters.
