Duties:

  • Handle breach or security incident handling.
  • Gain significant responsibility with direct exposure to clients.
  • Stay updated on emerging legal and technological developments in privacy and cyber law.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
  • Draft legal memoranda, opinions, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Assist with government investigations or litigation related to privacy and cyber issues.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of cyber and privacy experience or experience handling government investigations or litigation with an interest in cyber and privacy.
  • Strong academic background from a reputable law school.
  • Admission to the bar in Washington, DC, or eligibility for admission.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving.

 

Education/Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in Washington, DC, or eligibility for admission.

 

Skills:

  • Experience with evolving privacy and data security laws.
