A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate Attorney for their Washington, DC office. The Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate Attorney will primarily focus on investments in, or the formation of, domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience and possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.

 

Duties:

  • Handle investments in, or the formation of, domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
  • Assist with secondary transactions and structuring separately managed accounts and carry vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

  • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience.
