Are you an experienced public law attorney looking for a new opportunity? Look no further than Slovak Baron Empey Murphy & Pinkney LLP (SBEMP)! We are currently seeking a skilled attorney to join our team in either Orange County, Palm Springs, or Indian Wells. This position offers the chance to work on complex transactions and provide legal support to cities, special districts, joint powers authorities, and water districts.

At SBEMP, we value knowledge and experience in public agency law, advanced writing and research skills, land use and planning, attendance at public meetings, and working with public agency staff and local elected officials. The ideal candidate will also have experience reviewing and drafting contracts, as well as providing advice on the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and conflicts of interest.

To be considered for this position, you must be admitted to the CA Bar and have relevant experience. A security clearance is also required. While this is a full-time position, we offer a hybrid work model with the option to use our primary office in Costa Mesa, Palm Springs, or Indian Wells.
