Position Summary:

- Tax Manager role in Deloitte's Business Tax Services Tax-Exempt practice
- Primarily focused on serving non-profit clients, including health care providers, foundations, charities, and educational institutions
- Responsible for providing tax compliance and consulting services, managing engagement team, and maintaining client relationships
- Opportunity to work with an elite team of specialists and collaborate with colleagues in other areas of the firm

What You'll Do:

- Work with a variety of non-profit clients on tax issues such as compliance, business restructuring, exemption strategies, and philanthropic planning
- Manage engagement team and workflow, as well as provide technical training and career guidance
- Interact and collaborate with Tax-Exempt specialists from across the country

The Team:

- Dedicated team of experienced professionals committed to serving non-profit organizations and donors
- Includes specialists in multi-state and international tax compliance, as well as transfer tax planning
- Collaborates with colleagues in Consulting, Audit & Assurance, and Advisory on client projects
- Cross-functional team, including tax, audit, and consulting professionals, focused on philanthropic tax advisory services

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in federal taxation with a strong emphasis on tax-exempt organizations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
- One of the following accreditations: CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as CFA or CFP
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
