Children's Law Center (CLC) is a nonprofit organization in Kentucky that provides legal services and advocacy to children and youth in the state. We are committed to ensuring that all children have access to the resources and justice they need to reach their full potential.

## About
Children's Law Center was founded in 2003 with the mission to protect and promote the rights of children and young adults. CLC works to ensure that children and youth have access to the legal services and advocacy they need to achieve their full potential. We are dedicated to providing a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for children and young adults to thrive.

Our team is composed of experienced attorneys, social workers, advocates, and other professionals who are committed to advocating for the rights of children and youth. We provide legal services to children and youth in a variety of areas, including education, juvenile justice, custody, child victim legal assistance, civil rights actions, and youth re-entry civil legal services. We also engage in policy research/advocacy, community outreach, and community education efforts.

## Employment Opportunities
CLC is always looking for experienced attorneys, social workers, advocates, and other professionals who are committed to advocating for the rights of children and youth. We offer a variety of employment opportunities, including positions in legal services, policy research/advocacy, community outreach, and community education.

## Internships & Fellowships
CLC offers a limited number of internship and externship opportunities for law students. As part of CLC’s team, law clerks help young clients transition into adulthood in safe, healthy ways; overcome barriers to education and housing; better advocate for their own needs; successfully contribute to society; and much more. Law students will have the opportunity to work on cases in several areas of law, including education, juvenile justice, custody, child victim legal assistance, civil rights actions, and youth re-entry civil legal services. Students will also have opportunities to support policy research/advocacy, community outreach, and community education efforts.

CLC is also excited to sponsor candidates for upcoming fellowships, including Equal Justice Works, Skadden, Justice Catalyst, Justice for All (Ohio Access to Justice), and law-school-specific fellowships. CLC welcomes proposals from 2Ls, 3Ls, recent law graduates, judicial clerks, and other qualified fellowship applicants who want to serve children, teens, and young adults in Ohio and/or

Opportunity to work on cases in several areas of law, support policy research/advocacy, community outreach, and community education efforts.

Eligibility to enter the Ohio and/or Kentucky Bar prior to the beginning of the fellowship – or licensure to practice law in Ohio and/or Kentucky – or licensure in another state with eligibility for temporary admission to practice law in Ohio and/or Kentucky
