Job Overview: The Senior Finance Associate Attorney will provide legal support and expertise in finance matters, including lender and borrower-side representations, drafting and negotiating credit facilities, and managing deal processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and substantial experience in finance and be proactive and team-oriented.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate syndicated credit facilities, private credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based lending agreements.
  • Review and revise debt commitment papers, collateral documents, and other closing deliverables.
  • Provide support and guidance on legal matters related to finance transactions.
  • Manage deal processes, including client interaction and work product.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in finance, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Admitted, or eligible for admission, to the Minnesota Bar.
  • Strong academic background with superior drafting skills.
  • Diligent, proactive, and team-oriented approach to work.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Minnesota Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating finance agreements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
