Duties:

• Drafting and prosecuting patent applications
• Conducting patentability and infringement analyses
• Providing legal advice and counsel on intellectual property matters
• Managing client portfolios and communications
• Collaborating with clients, inventors, and internal teams to develop IP strategies

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of legal experience
• Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar
• Experience with drafting and patent prosecution
• Admission to the USPTO

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the USPTO
• Bar licensure in California (preferred)

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to analyze complex technical and legal issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in networking, software, 3G/4G/5G wireless networks, or related areas (preferred)
• Design engineering experience with a chip company (a plus)
