Job Overview:

  • Serve as a vital member of the Food And Beverage Industry Team, focusing on FDA/USDA/FTC/CPSC regulatory compliance issues.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients within the food, beverage, cosmetic, and consumer product industries.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on FDA, USDA, FTC, and CPSC regulations affecting the food and beverage industry.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and compliance documentation.
  • Advise clients on labeling, advertising, and marketing compliance matters.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings and enforcement actions before regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with due diligence and regulatory assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and product launches.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in FDA/USDA/FTC/CPSC regulatory compliance issues.
  • Focus on food, beverage, cosmetic, and consumer product industries.
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington, . Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
