Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Planning and Probate Attorney with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on matters related to estate planning, trust administration, probate, guardianship and conservatorship, and related areas of law. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and collaborate with a talented team of legal professionals

Qualifications:

• Law degree from an accredited law school


• Admission to the Michigan State Bar


• Prior experience in estate planning and probate estate and trust administration is a plus


• Knowledge of drafting estate plans from start to finish (preferably using Wealth Counsel, but not required),


• Experience in Guardianships and Conservatorships


• Experience in long-term care planning laws and regulations


• Experience in nursing home Medicaid, not required, but helpful


• Strong communication and negotiation skills


• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team


• Excellent time management and organizational skills


• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
