A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Associate Attorney for their Minneapolis, MN office. The successful candidate will work in a variety of industries, including agribusiness, life sciences, and energy.

Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Handle mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, securities, and other business transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to understand business objectives and provide legal guidance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements and legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex legal issues.
  • Assist with due diligence investigations and transactional closings.
  • Participate in client meetings, hearings, and negotiations as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate law.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, securities, and other business transactions;
  • JD from an accredited university.
  • Active membership in or commitment to applying to the Minnesota State Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited university.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in or commitment to applying to the Minnesota State Bar.
