Global Compliance Counsel - Key Member of Tesla's Legal Team

The Global Compliance Counsel plays a crucial role within Tesla's Legal organization, ensuring compliance with local laws, internal policies, and ethical standards. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong communication and collaboration skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Global Compliance and work closely with Tesla's business to maintain a culture of compliance.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure Tesla's operations comply with relevant laws, policies, and procedures
- Identify and address instances of non-compliance, recommending process and control updates
- Conduct internal investigations of potential violations of law or Tesla policy
- Assist in third-party due diligence screenings to mitigate compliance risks
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school and member of a state bar
- 3+ years of legal experience, including exposure to commercial transactions, litigation, and compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders within Tesla
- Passion for addressing ethics and compliance challenges in a global company
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
