Meta is seeking a Lead Counsel for AI Privacy to join their legal team and serve as a subject matter expert on artificial intelligence and privacy issues. This role offers opportunities to work with the product, business, and legal teams at Meta and provide legal advice on emerging requirements related to AI.

Responsibilities:

- Act as an expert on global privacy and AI-related laws and regulations for the company
- Evaluate and develop plans for compliance with new AI laws
- Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations related to AI
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on a daily basis

Minimum Qualifications:

- . degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience with internet or technology companies
- Business judgment and client counseling experience
- Familiarity with AI technologies and global privacy and AI-related laws, regulations, and industry guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working on AI-powered products
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing complex projects
- Demonstrated initiative in finding solutions across different functions
