Job Overview: The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal advice and counsel to clients. They will work with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve the firm's objectives.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
  • Conduct legal research on various issues relevant to cases
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
  • Attend client meetings and maintain regular communication to provide updates on case progress

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Nebraska State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion or examination
  • 1-5 years of experience as a litigator, preferably in personal injury law
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
