Law Firm is seeking an experienced Environmental Associate Attorney to join its team in either its New Orleans, LA or Baton Rouge, LA offices. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of environmental regulatory and toxic tort litigation experience.

Job Responsibilities:

-Provide legal advice and counsel on environmental regulatory and toxic tort litigation matters.

-Conduct legal research and analysis to evaluate the legal implications of environmental regulatory and toxic tort litigation matters.

-Draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions.

-Attend hearings, depositions, and court proceedings.

-Negotiate settlements.

-Advise and counsel clients on environmental regulatory and toxic tort litigation matters.

-Provide guidance on environmental regulatory and toxic tort litigation matters to other attorneys and staff.

-Assist in the preparation of the Firm’s annual report.

-Participate in Firm marketing and business development activities.

-Must have a minimum of two years of environmental regulatory and toxic tort litigation experience.
