Duties:

• Draft and negotiate construction contracts, including agreements between owners, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on construction-related issues, such as contract disputes, delays, and defects.
• Assist clients in filing and defending against mechanics lien claims.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and litigation proceedings related to construction disputes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Minnesota State Bar.
• 5+ years of experience practicing construction law, with a focus on construction contracts and mechanics lien matters.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
