DarrowEverett LLP, a leading law firm in the areas of complex litigation, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. We have immediate availability in multiple markets, including Boston, Mass.; Charleston, .; Charlotte, .; Nashville, Tenn.; and Providence, . As a Senior Litigation Attorney at DarrowEverett, you will have the opportunity to handle cases from inception through trial, including drafting discovery pleadings and motions, and taking and defending depositions. Our ideal candidate will have a portable book of business with at least $200,000 in collections that they are looking to grow, along with a strong acumen for leadership and a desire to be an integral part of a growing office. We value excellent communication and administrative skills, as well as a highly organized and detail-oriented approach. Our attorneys are expected to be responsible and always represent the firm in ways that enhance its reputation.

In addition to handling cases, our Senior Litigation Attorneys are expected to participate in all aspects of the firm's professional activities, including client intake and trial preparation. First or second chair trial experience is preferable, and the ability to handle litigation matters from inception through trial with minimal supervision is a must. Our attorneys are also responsible for formulating and developing case strategy, advising clients on risk mitigation and pre-suit resolution options, and conducting research and interviews with clients and witnesses.

Our Senior Litigation Attorneys must also be licensed to practice and in good standing in Tennessee.

As a Senior Litigation Attorney at DarrowEverett, you will also have the opportunity to manage the discovery process and supervise junior attorneys and staff members with document review projects. Mediation and AAA and other arbitration experience is preferable, and our attorneys are expected to perform complex legal research using tools such as Westlaw.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and a . degree, strong oral and written communication skills, and knowledge of laws, rules, and state and federal court procedures. Significant courtroom experience is also required, along with the ability to handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis. We are looking for individuals with a high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion, as well as strong organization and time management skills.
