Primary Responsibility:
- Integral part of Adaptimmune’s cell therapy business
- Support product portfolio and launch activities
- Provide legal support for commercial, sales, and regulatory areas
- Ensure regulatory compliance for product candidates

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate agreements for supply, manufacturing, distribution, payers, and government contracts
- Lead cross-functional programs and collaborate with commercial launch stakeholders
- Provide legal guidance for sales, marketing, and patient support activities
- Draft, review, and train in relation to legal policies for sales and marketing of products

Qualifications & Experience:
- 4-8 years legal experience with at least 3 years at a commercial-stage pharmaceutical or biotechnology company
- JD degree and licensed in good standing with Pennsylvania state bar preferred
- Broad knowledge of and significant legal experience in anti-kickback, Sunshine Act reporting, FDCA, OIG, privacy, FCPA and other statutes and regulations
- Experience reviewing advertising, copy, and promotional materials, advising on reimbursement and patient support activities, and reviewing product labels
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and lead cross-functional teams

This includes drafting and negotiating agreements, providing legal guidance for sales and marketing activities, and training employees on legal policies.

To be successful in this role, you should have 4-8 years of legal experience, including 3 years at a commercial-stage pharmaceutical or biotechnology company. You should also have a JD degree and be licensed in good standing with the Pennsylvania state bar. Knowledge of anti-kickback, Sunshine Act reporting, FDCA, OIG, privacy, and FCPA regulations is required, along with experience in reviewing advertising and promotional materials and drafting agreements.

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000-$200,000 per year, with bonus potential of up to 20% of your base salary based on individual and company performance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, and paid time off. Occasional travel to our US and UK offices may be required, but no more than twice per year.
