Overview:

KPMG, a leading provider of audit, tax, and advisory services, is seeking an experienced Executive Director for their Office of General Counsel. The successful candidate will join the Litigation group, specifically on the Practice Protection Team, and provide legal support to the firm. Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel on civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, legal process, and regulatory investigations
- Represent KPMG and its professionals in civil litigation proceedings and regulatory investigations
- Develop and manage strategies to defend litigation claims and regulatory investigations
- Supervise and collaborate with outside counsel and other members of the Office of General Counsel
- Report to and consult with senior leadership on legal issues arising in litigation and regulatory matters
- Assist in financial projections for litigation matters

Requirements:

- Minimum 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the United States
- Experience with complex civil litigation and regulatory investigations, preferably involving accounting firms or financial institutions
- Experience within the Division of Enforcement of the SEC or PCAOB or a similar regulatory or law enforcement agency is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple litigations and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with high-quality results
- Excellent analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills and client-service orientation
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion

Salary and Benefits:

- Salary range of $331,000 - $737,000
