Job Overview: A law firm seeks a skilled Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions to join its dynamic team in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in deal teams, managing various aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing.

Duties:

• Manage fundamental aspects of transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and documentation.
• Provide legal counsel and support to clients on sponsor-backed leveraged finance matters.
• Represent borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions.
• Strong understanding of sponsor-backed leveraged finance.
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in New York and in good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
