As a Manager, you will work with a team of problem solvers to help our clients navigate state and local tax laws and regulations. You will have the opportunity to develop strategies to stay ahead of and manage tax burdens and identify opportunities for clients. In addition, you will utilize data and insights to inform decisions and support clients in addressing complex business issues.

Job Title: State & Local Tax Manager

Salary Information: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in state and local tax, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Taxation or Political Science, and CPA or other relevant certifications.

- Knowledge of state and local tax laws and regulations
- Technical skills in FAS 109, unitary filing, apportionment methodologies, and tax research
- Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment
- Familiarity with alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies
