Job Overview:

Play a pivotal role in fostering the growth of the private credit, acquisition financing, special situations, restructuring, and private equity practices within the firm.

 

Duties:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, reorganizations, and general corporate finance.
  • Actively participate in direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings, and private equity-related corporate finance transactions.

 

Requirements:

  • Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Texas Bar.
  • 7-10 years of experience in debt finance or related fields.
  • Preferred experience as a key member of deal teams, with responsibility for signings, closings, and initial documentation drafting.

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of debt finance and corporate law.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
