As a Staff Attorney in the Children's Advocacy Program, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families involved in the child welfare system. With a full case load, you will provide direct legal representation for children and youth, advocate for child victims of crime, and assist youth navigating the juvenile delinquency system. Your work will include court advocacy, negotiations, and legal research and drafting, and will require travel within Broward County. To be considered for this position, you must be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar and have a background or experience in child dependency law or related areas. Courtroom litigation experience is preferred, as well as a passion for improving the lives of children and families and a willingness to work with and support children who have experienced trauma.
