# Associate Attorney

Shane Smith Law is a mid-size personal injury law firm located in Charlotte, NC with significant projected growth in the Carolinas. We are dedicated to excellence and are determined to provide our clients with exceptional legal representation by maximizing outcomes for their cases. To achieve this, we are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team.

## Job Description

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for monitoring clients' treatment, negotiating with insurance companies and medical providers, and providing case approvals and second-tier client contact. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter and self-motivator who is proactive in tackling tough cases and is not afraid to take on new challenges. They must also possess strong negotiation skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and strong attention to detail.

## Responsibilities

- Monitor client treatment
- Negotiate with insurance companies and medical providers
- Provide case approvals and second-tier client contact
- Lead by example and work both independently and in a team
- Ensure all cases are managed effectively and efficiently
- Provide a positive client experience

## Requirements

- Must currently hold
- PI experience is a plus
- Will consider February 2023 Bar applicants

## Salary

$50,000 - $75,000/year
