# Associate Attorney

Shane Smith Law is a mid-size personal injury law firm located in Charlotte, NC with significant projected growth in the Carolinas. To achieve this, we are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team.

## Job Description

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for monitoring clients' treatment, negotiating with insurance companies and medical providers, and providing case approvals and second-tier client contact. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter and self-motivator who is proactive in tackling tough cases and is not afraid to take on new challenges. They must also possess strong negotiation skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and strong attention to detail.

## Responsibilities

- Monitor client treatment
- Negotiate with insurance companies and medical providers
- Provide case approvals and second-tier client contact
- Lead by example and work both independently and in a team
- Ensure all cases are managed effectively and efficiently
- Provide a positive client experience

## Requirements

- Must currently hold
- PI experience is a plus
- Will consider February 2023 Bar applicants

## Salary

$50,000 - $75,000/year
