Job Summary:

PwC's National Tax Services Exempt Organizations team is seeking a Senior Associate to join their team. The team serves a wide range of tax-exempt organizations, providing valuable insight into emerging tax issues and trends, as well as helping clients implement successful tax strategies in response to legislative, federal, and judicial tax developments.

Responsibilities:

- Provide tax compliance and consulting services for not-for-profit organizations, including healthcare, higher education, international clients, private foundations, public charities, for-profit corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Use statistical software to conduct economic, statistical, and modeling services.
- Conduct statistical analyses and provide consulting services across various industries.
- Demonstrate technical skills in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations.
- Research business and industry trends to develop a point of view to assist with proposals.
- Work with new and existing technologies to innovate and experiment with digitization solutions.
- Review contracts and find opportunities to introduce new pricing options.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Juris Doctorate preferred.
- CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of exempt organization tax issues and compliance.
- Experience with SAS or equivalent statistical software.
- Knowledge of tax-related economic, statistical, and modeling services.
- Understanding of tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations.
- Familiarity with various tax forms, including 990, 990 PF, 1120, 1065, and 1040.
- Ability to research and analyze business and industry trends.
- Comfortable working with large, complex data sets and data visualization tools.
- Strong negotiation and pricing skills.
- Familiarity with automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
