Key Responsibilities:

- Handle all aspects of litigation cases, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, attending hearings, and taking depositions
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Collaborate with team members and provide support when needed
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documents

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
- 4+ years of litigation experience preferred
- Prior experience in insurance defense is encouraged
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dedicated and motivated to succeed
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- High level of organization and attention to detail
