This position will support the Office of Training and Workforce Development and will be responsible for coordinating and managing training events for approximately 400 employees. The position offers a competitive salary range of GS-13: $117,962 -$ 153,354 (per annum), GS-14: $139,395 - $181,216 (per annum), and GS-15: $163,964 - $191,900 (per annum). About the Organization: The National Security Division (NSD) is responsible for coordinating the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) efforts in combating terrorism and protecting national security. They also serve as the DOJ’s liaison to the United States Intelligence Community (USIC) and represent the government and the USIC before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. NSD advises the Attorney General on all matters of national security policy. Job Description: The Attorney Advisor will work under the general supervision of NSD’s General Counsel and the Director of Training and Workforce Development. Responsibilities for this role include supporting training events, developing and maintaining relationships with other organizations, ensuring employees meet training requirements, providing technical expertise, and assisting with the evaluation and development of training programs. This position will also serve as Administrative Liaison for OGC and provide legal advice and consultation as needed. Qualifications: Applicants must possess a . degree, be duly licensed and authorized to practice as an attorney, and have or more years of . professional experience to be qualified at the GS-13 level, or more years of experience for GS-14, and 4 or more years for GS-15. Preferred candidates will have experience in training and workforce development initiatives, superior academic credentials, and excellent writing and analytic skills.
