Position Summary

- Seeking a strategic and creative Tax Senior with experience in Unclaimed Property Tax, ready to make a greater impact on organizations by aligning tax solutions with business objectives.
- Join one of the largest Multistate Tax practices in the United States and work on complex state unclaimed property tax issues.

- Deloitte's Multistate Tax Services (MTS) group is one of the largest State and Local Tax (SALT) practices in the United States, with over 1,000 professionals nationwide.
- Our team includes former state tax auditors and administrators, industry personnel, tax practitioners, and technology experts with extensive multistate tax experience.
- We offer a range of services including state income and franchise tax, indirect tax, unclaimed property, and more.

Work You'll Do
- As a Tax Senior in the Unclaimed Property Tax group, you will provide state tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base in various industry sectors.
- Responsibilities include handling state tax projects, developing strategies to mitigate potential unclaimed property exposure, and supervising and leading teams.

Qualifications
Required
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with team members 2-3 days per week
- 3+ years of experience in state and local tax, with at least 1 year in Unclaimed Property tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, or CFE certification, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to travel up to 10% based on client and industry needs

Preferred
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Supervisory experience

Salary Information
The disclosed range estimate takes into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, and more. The current range is $68,180 to $144,300.
