Associate General Counsel - Domestic Sales & Marketing:

- Location: Modesto, CA
- Salary range: $272,295 - $454,875 + 20% performance bonus potential
- Job title: Associate General Counsel
- Experience: 10-15 years as a lawyer, preferably with in-house counsel experience
- Juris Doctorate and California State Bar membership required
- Responsible for legal activities related to domestic sales, marketing, regulatory, and government affairs for a global portfolio of wine and spirits brands
- Provides advice to all levels of management, including executive management
- Drafts and reviews distribution agreements and commercial contracts
- Manages company response to regulatory inquiries and investigations
- Provides legal training for company personnel
- Supervises and manages outside counsel as needed
- Supports acquisitions and reviews proposed legislative and regulatory changes
- Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, business acumen, and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to travel when necessary and relocate if needed
- Must be 18 years or older
