Corporate Counsel, Pricing & Access role for Pfizer

Pfizer is currently seeking a Corporate Counsel for Pricing and Access to provide legal guidance and counsel to their US Marketing Access and vaccines teams. This role requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical healthcare regulations, contract drafting and negotiation, and experience in fraud and abuse, regulatory law, and medical-related matters. The role will also involve working closely with internal legal subject-matter experts and key cross-functional stakeholders.

Salary Information:

- Annual base salary ranges from $173, to $288,
- Eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of % of the base salary
- Eligible to participate in Pfizer's share-based long-term incentive program

Pfizer, a global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly qualified Corporate Counsel for Pricing and Access to join their team. This role will provide legal guidance and counsel to Pfizer's US Marketing Access and vaccines teams, and requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical healthcare regulations and contract drafting and negotiation.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze, draft, and negotiate a variety of payer and purchaser agreements
- Counsel and review commercial tactics and materials
- Create and implement training materials for vaccines account management and sales roles
- Review pricing and access materials and counsel on digital platforms related to pricing and access
- Work collaboratively with other members of Pfizer's Legal Division, legal staff, and business colleagues
- Demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Qualifications:

- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- JD or equivalent law degree
- Admission to practice law in the United States
- 7+ years of legal and/or compliance experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Thorough understanding of regulatory and legal frameworks governing payer engagements and medical activities
- Experience negotiating and managing programs related to service agreements under the personal services safe harbor to the anti-kickback statute and regulations
- Understanding of healthcare-related laws and regulations and industry standards
- Strong leadership skills and ability to cultivate strong client relationships
- Strategic, self-motivated, solution-focused individual
- Highly organized and focused on completion of tasks consistent with business objectives
