Job Description:
The OAG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Attorney for their Child Support division. This position involves managing and supervising office personnel, representing the State of Texas at legal proceedings, and providing legal advice and counsel for child support enforcement. The OAG offers excellent benefits and opportunities to make a positive impact in the lives of Texans.

Responsibilities:
- Represent the State of Texas at legal proceedings
- Manage and supervise office personnel, including hiring, evaluating, counseling, and training
- Oversee office budget and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues from various stakeholders
- Serve as primary legal counsel for the office
- Develop and deliver training
- Maintain relevant knowledge and attend work regularly
- Ensure security and confidentiality of sensitive information
- Comply with agency policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (.) degree from accredited institutions
- Licensed attorney in the State of Texas in good standing with the State Bar
- 4 years of full-time legal experience, with 2 years in Family Law
- Knowledge of Family Law and the Texas Family Code
- Strong legal writing, mediation, and negotiation skills
- Trial lawyering, investigative, and research skills
- Computer proficiency and time management skills
- Effective communication and decision-making abilities
- Ability to receive and act on feedback, work well in a team, and provide excellent customer service
- Must be able to work in person at assigned OAG location and travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Texas Child Support Program and high-volume legal practice
- Management experience
- Proficiency in Spanish
