# Data Privacy/Mobility Attorney

Varnum LLP is seeking an experienced attorney to join the Data and Privacy Mobility Practice Team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in regulatory and/or litigation, and have expertise and a passion for data privacy and emerging transportation technology.

## Qualifications

* 10+ years of legal practice experience
* Knowledge of domestic and international data privacy regulations, especially as related to technology companies and advanced mobility
* Experience in drafting and reviewing data protection impact assessments, privacy policies and product-specific privacy notices
* Ability to assist with the implementation of policies and procedures for responding to consumer rights requests and data breaches
* Experience in reviewing vendor and customer contracts with a focus on security and data privacy issues
* Experience in advising mobility and technology providers on domestic and international data privacy laws and regulations
* Excellent academic credentials
* Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Outstanding client service skills
* Current or pending CIPP certification preferred
* Admission to the Michigan bar preferred, but not required
