Experience: Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant work experience preferred, along with a CPA, Master's degree in Taxation, or Law degree

Responsibilities:

- Conduct research, analysis, and interpretation of tax laws and cases to provide recommendations and opinions to senior management
- Work with internal and external counsel to develop tax planning strategies and prepare tax memoranda to document positions
- Utilize strategic relationships to influence all levels of the organization and ensure proper reporting of tax information
- Provide guidance and direction to junior team members to improve their performance
- Ensure tax financial disclosure is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Establish and implement the organization's tax strategy to minimize tax liability and regulatory and audit risk
- Use complex tax techniques to achieve business objectives

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for a CPA, Master's degree in Taxation, or Law degree
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of tax best practices and end-to-end tax processes
- Ability to advise and guide less experienced professionals
- Strong understanding of tax tools and systems
- FINRA licenses not required or supported for this role
- Eligible for remote work up to two days a week
