A law firm in Edina is seeking a Litigation Family Law Attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience. The candidate will proactively manage family law cases from beginning to end, providing superior customer service to all clients. This includes issuing monthly status reports and conducting weekly reviews of cases. Additionally, the attorney will make improvement recommendations to practice managers and manage performance metrics using practice quality software. The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited university, passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt, and possess 1st chair family law experience. They must also be licensed to practice law in the state of MN and have the ability to quickly learn new technical programs and software.

Duties:

• Manage family law cases from initiation to resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including issuing monthly status reports and conducting weekly case reviews.
• Make recommendations to practice managers for process improvements.
• Track accomplishments and client satisfaction using practice quality software.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to family law matters.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.
• Collaborate with legal team members on case strategy and resolution.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited university.
• Passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt.
• 1st chair family law experience.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of MN.
• Ability to quickly learn new technical programs and software.

Experience:

2-6 years of litigation experience.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in MN.
