Salary Information:
- Hiring Range: from $120,100 to $251,600 per annum

- Candidates are placed into the range based on factors such as internal peer equity

Job Title: Senior Corporate Counsel - Development & Engineering

Experience: 6 to 10+ years

Location: Telecommuting/remote within the United States

Department: Development and Engineering Legal Team

Role: Individual Contributor

Security Clearance: Not required

Language Requirements: Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support for all of Oracle's software development and hardware engineering organizations worldwide
- Work closely with Oracle Development executives to complete agreements with strategic suppliers and evaluate inbound software licensing, open source, AI/ML, and more
- Coordinate efforts of internal organizations to ensure compliance with company policies and take a leadership role in defining policies, practices, and procedures
- Handle a variety of tasks, evaluate alternatives quickly, and provide top-quality legal assistance and support to executive-level clients

Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant legal experience, including experience with inbound software, data licensing issues, open source, and AI/ML in a technology company
- Bar certified, in good standing, in a state in the US
- Strong background in IP and commercial negotiating and contracting
