Job Overview:

A law firm specializing in international trade law seeks a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join its dynamic practice group in Washington, . The ideal candidate will focus on ITC Section 337 investigations, with additional expertise in various international trade remedy investigations.

Job Details:

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on international trade laws, regulations, and precedents.
  • Represent clients in ITC Section 337 investigations and other international trade remedy proceedings.
  • Collaborate with the international trade practice group to develop legal strategies and provide sound legal advice.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, briefs, and motions.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing timely and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • 2-5 years of experience in ITC Section 337 investigations and/or other international trade remedy investigations.
  • Knowledge and experience in antidumping, countervailing, safeguards, Section 232 national security reviews, and Section 301 proceedings are a plus.
  • An undergraduate technical degree is helpful, but not mandatory.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Washington, . Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
