Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking a Senior Attorney to join their Children's Legal Services (CLS) team in Tavares/Bushnell, FL. As a Senior Attorney, you will have the opportunity to advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of Florida's abused, abandoned, and neglected children.

This is a partial remote position, allowing for a flexible work schedule and the ability to work from home. Entry level attorneys are encouraged to apply, and training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

- Advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of abused, abandoned, and neglected children
- Collaborate with investigators and case managers to gather evidence and prepare for legal action
- Ensure Florida and federal legal requirements are met to secure permanent and safe homes for dependent children
- Employ best practice litigation techniques to lead the nation in dependency advocacy
- Responsible for multiple cases and must ensure all legal requirements are met

Qualifications:

- Law degree
- Minimum of 2 years bar admission

Training Provided:

- Multi-week onboarding program
- Quarterly intensive multi-day New Attorney Training
- Annual multi-day Advanced Litigation Academy
- Fulfillment of all CLE requirements
