Position Summary:

- Seeking experienced tax specialist with a passion for cutting-edge tax technology and improving computational software applications and solutions.
- Manager role within the Partnership Solutions Group, Operational Partnership Services team.
- Opportunity to work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients and gain industry experience across various industries.
- Responsibilities include assisting clients with public offering transactions, developing technology focused on . federal income tax principles, and leading engagement teams.

Work You'll Do:

- Refine skillset by working with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients on matters that mean the most to them.
- Diversify industry experience by working on a plethora of various industries including private equity, healthcare, tech, financial products, oil & gas, green energy, real estate, consumer products, and more.
- Deliver value to clients experiencing public offerings and interact with external counsel, underwriters, client executives, and capital market professionals.
- Assist clients with public offering transactions and work with Up-C clients on an ongoing basis.
- Develop an understanding of the public monetization transactional process.
- Create cutting-edge technology focused on . federal income tax principles.
- Lead engagement teams and mentor and develop engagement staff.
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes and oversee complex tax computation projects for clients.
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation.
- Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance various Deloitte initiatives.

- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP.
- NFTS offers a variety of tax services and works with the largest organizations across all industries.
- The Operational Partnership Services (OPS) service line, a part of the Partnership Solutions Group within NFTS, works with privately-held and publicly-traded partnerships across the United States on a wide range of federal tax and issues.
- Industries served by OPS include private equity, real estate, telecom, technology, healthcare, media & entertainment, energy, retail, and financial services.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in federal partnership tax.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business-related field.
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership skills and management experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- . federal income tax partnership experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on work and client needs.
- One of the following accreditations: licensed CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as CFA or CFP.

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM.
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Transaction and M&A experience.
- Alteryx experience.

Salary Information:

- Wage range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, and other business and organizational needs.
- Salary range estimate is $103,320 to $235,170.
- Potential for annual incentive program not included in salary range.
- Salary may be adjusted based on geographic location.
