Responsibilities of the Counsel - Mergers & Acquisitions include: - Providing leadership, guidance, and direction for M&A processes - Collaborating with Corporate Development personnel on a broad range of M&A activity - Supervising outside counsel, overseeing legal due diligence, and negotiating agreement terms - Advising on other strategic transactions such as venture capital investments and corporate partnership agreements Qualifications for this role include: - 7+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with experience in major law firms - JD from a reputable US law school and admission to practice law in at least one US state - Experience in private equity and venture capital transactions preferred - Prior in-house technology transactions experience in a public company This position offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $285,000-$300,000, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits. The role will be based at Danaher's headquarters in Washington DC, with travel required as needed.
