# Investment Management Attorney - Alternative Investments

Lazard is one of the world’s leading financial advisory and asset management firms, offering creative ideas and original concepts to drive our business forward. We are looking for an Investment Management Attorney to join our legal team in New York, reporting to the Head of North American Legal.

## Responsibilities

* Be the primary legal contact for the firm’s alternative investment products
* Assist with fund and product launches and various growth initiatives (organic and inorganic)
* Respond to legal and regulatory matters and inquiries
* Prepare and review regulatory filings related the firm’s products

## Requirements

*
* Investment management contract negotiation experience, fund formation, compliance and regulatory experience
* Experience negotiating commercial contracts is a plus
* High EQ, excellent communication, and relationship management skills
* The ability to collaborate with and advise a diverse set of individuals and constituencies
