year Federal Tax Associate: Join a leading provider of professional services to the middle market in Naples, FL. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Federal Tax Associate, starting in Winter 2026. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with high net worth families, closely held businesses, estates, trusts, and private foundations. You will also have the chance to develop strong relationships with clients and utilize your tax knowledge to provide valuable services. Responsibilities: - Work with high net worth families, closely held businesses, estates, trusts, and private foundations - Develop strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and challenges - Complete tax planning and research - Prepare federal and state & local tax returns - Gain a general understanding of reporting requirements for different entity structures and the compliance process - Increase involvement in developing innovative tax ideas to reduce clients' overall effective tax rates - Leverage tax knowledge and understanding of the tax preparation process to bring work to completion for review - Demonstrate awareness of differing levels of assurance for tax positions through written documentation on complex tax issues - Stay updated on relevant tax legislation for Private Client Service clients Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field - Required coursework to sit for CPA exam, licensed JD or enrolled agent - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Ability to work as part of a collaborative team - Excellent client relations and interpersonal skills - Outstanding organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications: - CPA, JD or Enrolled Agent designation - . in Taxation and/or Master's in Taxation At RSM, we value our employees and offer a competitive benefits and compensation package.
