# H1 Associate - Digital Assets and Data Management # H2 Position Overview Law Firm is looking to hire a junior-to-mid-level (2nd to 4th year) associate to join its premier and globally recognized Digital Assets and Data Management Practice Group in Denver, CO. The associate will work with regional, national, and global clients focused on a wide range of cutting-edge technology issues, cybersecurity, digital privacy, and Internet safety. # H2 Responsibilities • Respond to incidents for clients experiencing cyber events including, but not limited to, ransomware and business email compromises. • Defend clients in legal actions involving breaches. • Assist clients in the diverse and quickly evolving field of data privacy and information security liability. • Assist clients with regulatory investigations from state and federal regulators. # H2 Qualifications • Privacy and cybersecurity experience or a commercial litigation candidate who is interested in learning Internet cyber law and investigations. • Active license to practice law in Colorado. • A federal judicial clerkship is a plus. • AmLaw 200 firm experience or experience with a boutique firm that specializes in data privacy related issues. • Extreme attention to detail. • Superb writing and oral communication skills. • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues. • Motivation to learn and understand technology and forensic findings, effectively discuss those issues with technically skilled individuals, and distill findings for clients without technology experience. • Good judgment and the ability to apply legal knowledge to problem solving by developing strategic solutions. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting. • The commitment and interpersonal skills to succeed in a collaborative and team environment that works across offices using digital platforms. • Experience advising and litigating claims involving state and federal laws (BIPA, FCRA, FACTA, etc.) is a plus. • A strong academic record, having earned a . from a nationally recognized and accredited school. # H2 Location This position is located in Denver, CO. # H2 Salary The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $205K - $215K. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills.
