A law firm is seeking a Senior Debt Finance Attorney for their New York City office. The ideal candidate should have 6-7 years of debt finance experience at another law firm. The Senior Debt Finance Attorney will be responsible for handling various aspects of debt finance transactions. This includes structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex financing arrangements, as well as providing legal advice and counsel to clients. They will collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to ensure the successful completion of transactions and adherence to client expectations.

 

Duties:

  • Structuring, negotiating, and documenting debt finance transactions.
  • Providing legal advice and counsel to clients on financing matters.
  • Collaborating with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
  • Conducting due diligence and risk assessment related to financing arrangements.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and opinions.
  • Managing and supervising junior attorneys and legal staff involved in debt finance matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of New York.
  • 6-7 years of debt finance experience at another law firm.
  • Strong understanding of finance principles and transactional structures.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of New York.
