Marsh is seeking candidates like you for our Senior Claims Advocacy Professional role in NYC, Chicago or Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities: - Provide proactive coverage and claims strategy advice to clients on practice-specific or line of business claims - Monitor and drive claims process to ensure progress from notification through to closure - Liaise with insurers and their advisors on queries and policy coverage discussions - Participate in the development of strategic business plans for a line of business at the major account level - Drive insurer service and relationship discussions and provide high-level policy wording feedback - Monitor insurer response and engage with insurers and their professional advisers on queries and policy coverage discussions Requirements: - 10+ years of claims experience, with a focus on Management Liability - Juris Doctor degree is mandatory - P&C license is mandatory, or ability to obtain What Sets You Apart: - Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with internal colleagues, clients and carriers - Self-starter with resourcefulness and the ability to bring solutions and ideas to the firm - Collaborative team player who can make an immediate impact - Interest in achieving practice goals and finding ways to meet them About Marsh: Marsh is the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, with over 45,000 colleagues operating in more than 130 countries.
